Two points on this pair of shoes. One just as sneakers and two as steel toes.For the wife general around the house and farm shoes. The color matches the photos well. The sizing appears to be pretty standard with out running small or large like other brands. Sole and support are good even after breaking in a little bit. Seams appear to be holding up so far.As steel toes. I've been in construction for 14 years now with steel toes being pretty much what I wear. I would doubt these would be allowed on a jobsite. The toe itself is decent it would be the remainder of the shoe as a work shoe. I could perhaps see this as an office employee adjacent to a shop that on occasion has to go meet with the foreman or super on a job so this would technically be in compliance.Most steel toe boots are heavy leather for a reason and whether they have metatarsal protection (steel over the middle of the food) there is still a bit from the leather versus the thin breathable fabric these have. Overall an interesting try at a hybrid just not sure if the compromises really make it better as safety footwear or comfort.Rating is based solely on as a shoe for the price point. I'll leave your independent needs for a steel toe up to you.
