I wear an 8.6 and I ordered a size 40 which is the conversion. It was slightly too big. If I order another one I will order an equivalent to an size 8 instead. I can probably fix the issue by purchasing a heel pad for the back of the shoe and maybe some arch supports that I usually but anyway. I'm going on a trip where I may be walking 10 miles a day and needed good walking shoeI love the look of the shoe. First day I wore them, felt good. As the day went on my feet began to hurt. I think they need more support. My socks were slipperyso as I walked my foot went forward too.I have worn them again a few times but not all day with alot of walking. Shoe does feel better as if I am not wearing shoes at all.It's kind of a struggle to get on and you'd have to have a really thin sock or stocking unless you go barefoot in or go up a half size if possible.This sneaker/boot is great. Very stylish. It runs small. I bought it a half a size larger.I wear a 6 1/2 in any other shoe but I had to buy a 6 in this shoe. They were so loose and long in the heel. The 6 is perfect. The insole is not padded and they do not have a significant arch support. BUT, they are extremely comfortable, like wearing socks with a sole. The height of the heel makes walking pleasant, and they're no problem for someone who stands all day.I like the comfort??I like these shoes because I do a lot of walking at work and by the time I got home, my feet did not hurt. Gives me extra cushion as well from the hard floorsAbsolutely love these shoes. I work 12 hours shifts at a nursing home. Always on my feet. Suffer from planters fasciitis. My feet were always in pain. I have to say I was walking the other day thinking hey I’m not in pain. Will totally recommend these shoes, and have. 3 of my coworkers ordered the same pair. Thank you !!The shoes just arrived. They are exactly as pictured and fit is good - or maybe just slightly tight as I am wearing thin socks and they feel a bit snug. Having just received them they probably need worked in a bit. I'm slightly concerned in that the description for the shoes says rubber sole, but I think that only applies to the center part of the sole, as the parameter of the sole looks/feels like plastic (but I might be wrong). I'm disappointed overall because I was actually searching for Sketchers when these shoes appeared in the Amazon search results. But that's my own fault. I'll give them a try and report back if I hate them.I was very hopeful that these would be amazing shoes..... UNFORTUNATELY they are horrible. There is zero and I mean absolutely ZERO, ZIP, ZILCH support. I refer to these shoes as ankle breakers. Why there is such a high heel on sneakers is also beyond me. The 1 star is only because they actually fit a wide foot with the stretch in them and they look nice (but looks isn't everything). I would definitely not recommend these "sneakers" unless of course you want to sprain or break an ankle. I personally chose to return mine after trying them on and feeling the lack of support.The fit was completely off, way to large for the size. It was a 9 in length, but the sides were large and provided no support. I twisted my ankle due to lack of support. The soles were hard and very uncomfortable. The toe box area was dented in several places and could not be reshaped. I sent them back.
