Bought these shoes for my daughter an liked them so much she let me keep them, ha ha. Great quality especially in the deep blue, fit is true to size as I am 9 and it was comfortable and fit as expected.Alright, so I love the shoes, only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was a hassle getting the correct size. I normally wear size 8, sometimes 8.5 if it’s a particularly small shoe, but more than not, I’m an 8. I checked the size chart, which had wrong measurements btw, so I decided to read reviews. I saw all of these reviews stating how they are “clown shoes“ and sized way too big, and that we need to order a size down. Which is understandable, if a shoe it’s just made really big then I’ve worn a 7.5 before. So that’s what I initially ordered, and it was WAY too small. Like I couldn’t even get my toes in. So I returned them, and got an 8.5 because the 8 was out of stock, and I’m glad I did because I don’t think the 8 would have fit. Even the 8.5 is borderline, because I had to widen the laces and they don’t pull back together very tight. And I don’t have particularly fat feet, they’re average size and width. (See picture of widened laces) And my toes come up to the tip, meaning the 8 definitely would have been too short. (See picture for me pointing out where my toe is.) moral of the story, expect to order a size, try on, then return for the correct one, because apparently the sizing on these is all over the place. They run a little big but I put some liners in and wore them all day. Can't beat the price! Got a lot of compliments too!I want to be CLEAR with this. I try to read the reviews on things I am interested in purchasing. I knew these sneakers are made in China, and products from there (due to previous experience) tend to be made smaller than American sizing. After reading a lot of the reviews, I came away thinking that I could purchase my regular size 7 because most of them said the sneakers were long and/or big. So I purchased my regular size. Well, I received them, tried them on, and although they fit, they were SNUG and my toe was kissing the tip, and I HATE that! I like wiggle room which is usually what I have with size 7, but these are indeed made short! I had to return them, and am going to get the 7.5. Unfortunately they don't have the color I ordered anymore, so I have to play the waiting game. The poster's that complained about them being too big, I went back in to look, and noticed that they were the larger sizes. So maybe they are extra big in larger sizes, but I KNOW in size 7 they are a tad short. I know what to do now, and I really LIKE these sneakers. They are made well, look good, are REAL close to Converse's without paying that price. I would have given a 5 star if not for the size issue.The color & styleI couldn't believe the quality of these shoes for the price! They are stylish AND comfortable. I ordered my usual size 9. They fit comfortably, but if you like your shoes to really hug your feet, I would order 1/2 size smaller. I hope to add another pair to my collection soon! I love how they compliment a casual summer dress when you need a little more support and durability with summertime activities!I liked this shoes very much, you need a band on the ankle, but otherwise Very nice shoes and true to size
