I am an older female runner, on the heavier side that has been running for 18 years. Was religiously a saucony hurricane girl but once they went to their new cushy bed, I couldn't wear the shoe. Adrenalines saved me and I have enjoyed wearing them for 8+ years. This version of the adrenaline definitely has less support than previous versions and I am experience some ankle/foot pain, nothing bad, but a little more stress and I actually get slight cramps from time to time. It is almost like my mid foot sinks a bit too much and my ankle is forced to under-pronate. My heal does slip in this version as well which has never been a problem in the past and laces are oddly a bit too short. I think Brooks makes beautiful shoes and would love to stick with the Adrenaline but as I age, I need that stability/support. More important than lightening the shoe, making it bouncy or more like their very popular neutral top seller. I am really hoping that next version falls back to a previous level of support or I will need to change shoes again.I have lovely heels spurs and I have been searching for good shoes for them. I got 3 different kinds of Brooks and kept them all as they all were helpful in taking the pain away/down. I got some Revel 4 and 5 for the other two but THIS Adrenaline type is my favorite! They do fit a little different compared to the other two but in the best way. I was told years ago that if you’re going to be running or standing for long periods of time that your feet will swell so always go a half size bigger for those types. I did just that and I’m ever so grateful for that tip years ago. You may not like the price at first but by golly you’re gonna be just fine once you try them on! Fabulous support and took my bone spur pain away. Not to find some Brooks flips!!! HahaI suffer from knee and foot pain in my “maturity!” Lol! I am a walker, and I go to the gym 2 to 3 days a week. A visit to a Fleet Feet store solved all my problems. Brookes Adrenaline was the exact shoe I needed. The ankle support keeps my knee stable. I have friends who are marathon runners/walkers who choose Brooke’s’ tennis shoes because of their exceptional qualities. My preference is Brookes Adrenaline, but their are many other types of Brooke’s’ tennis shoes to fit a person’s needs. Do yourself a favor and invest in a pair because I promise you that you won’t be disappointed. Another awesome fact is that if you have a problem you can call Brookes and speak to one of their experts. Brookes will advise you and allow you to return the shoes or get a refund. I would strongly advise getting fitted in a store when you buy your first pair. When you know which shoes is the most comfortable, you can make your purchase, and then hit up Amazon to get exactly what you need. I have 7 pair of Brookes in different colors. I LOVE BROOKES!This was a gift for my lady who is a school teacher. She is on her feet all day, 5 days a week… on unpadded concrete. Her school suffered a catastrophic loss due to flash flooding here in eastern, KY so all their tiles were removed during the clean up and now she is walking on bare concrete. Since she got these, she is no longer coming home almost in tears. It was worth the money to bring her the comfort these shoes bring.The shoes were as I had expected - wonderful. The Customer Service was some of the best I have received.HWY 121 LLC notified me immediately that the shoes were back ordered (the shoes were fabulous) and gave me the options to choose another pair, cancel my order or wait for the shoes. I opted to wait. HWY 121 LLC notified me immediately when the shoes were back in stock and shipped. And then made sure I received the shoes. The communication was priceless. Thanks guys.These shoes fit as expected and are very comfortable. I used them for walking however, they don’t seem to hold up with simple walking. Notice the rubber wearing away. These shoes are only a few months old. They don’t seem to be worth paying $140 for.Apparently I am old now because I got some tendonitis from running and some weird stuff when I would run in my toes. These shoes helped with all of that. My husband has recommenced Brooks forever, guess I should have listened to him (but we won't tell him that, will we amazon?)I’m so thankful for this brand and style of Brooks!! My feet always feel good and never sore when I wear these! I have many other colors in this style and will continue to buy these so long as they keep making the GTS type.Comfort for my feetThe comfort under the ball of the foot feels like walking/running on hard plastic.Ich habe jetzt nach 10 Jahren wieder mit dem Laufen angefangen. Die Brooks sind tolle Stabilschuhe mit sehr guter Dämpfung und guter Führung, man fühlt sich sehr sicher. Ich finde sie sehr gut, auch wenn man Knieprobleme oder Probleme mit den Füßen hat.Der Schuh ist ein toller Laufschuh. Leider löste sich nach nur einem Monat bereits die Sohle. Ging dann zurück. Kaufpreis wurde zurück erstattet. Dies war kein Problem. Hab ihn mir noch einmal bestellt. Hoffe nun passt alles. 3 Sterne wegen der Sohle. Ansonsten top!I bought the first Adrenaline 22 after research, and i received and love it. Unfortunately, after one week of wearing, the shoe sole start to peel off as in photo, immediately i request for return and repurchased. However, after one week of wearing, i facing same issue , again the shoe sole peel off again. Overall the shoe is great for flat fleet user like myself, but need better quality of shoe sole.
